Thomas invited me to record a podcast with him.  We played some rap and talked about it.  I brought some Metro Zu, LoveRance, King Louie, French Montana/Future/Chinx Drugs, and Starlito.  Thomas brought some dope Bay Area and Ohio raps.  And Rihanna.

While the rest of you are listening to your favorite fashion stylist’s favorite rapper or your favorite Teach for America student’s favorite rapper, I’m gonna continue to stan on Jeezy’s new tape.  This song is amazing.

J. Stalin feat. 2Pac - “Show Me” (Livewire, 2012).  

I wouldn’t be mad if Stalin put out an album with hologram Pac.

E-40 explains that the Bay doesn’t get radio play outside the Bay because the Bay is full of trendsetters who are ahead of their time.  ”They talk about the shit we doin’, then they duplicate us later. … That’s not a Catch-22, that’s a Catch-23.”

V-Nasty feat. Princess Mermaid & D. Bledsoe - Clap that Ass (produced by Iamsu!).

I’ve probably posted this track before, but today is dedicated to V-Nasty, and Doin Numbers got no love.  Granted, it’s not as good as BAYTL cuz, um, you can’t skip certain verses in order to just listen to Gucci Mane verses.  But it’s still underrated in my humble opinion.
